with 150s gold unspend, an objectives that wasnt met and a small headache slowly evolving into meh closed and looked if i missed something, then reopend objectivesmenu to restart, ignored the warnings as i was fine with a new safe- and then entire world was reset. So i tried to restart the objective knowing i could beat it but warnings popped up saying i would save my game. i then clicked to see objectives in menu and behold, the Centennial still showed as incomplete there, - gamescreen had the objective checked as in completed and i had killed the boss.
